The no stretch helps with fitted or easy-wear pieces.

The mid-weight 200 gsm hand gives the cloth enough body to hold a seam line.

A 59 in working width means fewer joins when you cut curtains.

The 10 colorways are the same base cloth throughout, so mixing shades keeps a uniform hand.

An opaque hand keeps seam allowances from ghosting on the right side.

Sewing is straightforward with no stretch: use a ballpoint needle on knits and a universal needle on wovens.

Plan the cutting layout around the 59 in usable width so a mid-weight make uses the yardage efficiently.

The listed content is velvet, so match your care routine to that fiber family.

The knit structure is what gives the 200 gsm cloth its particular recovery.

Beyond sofa throws, this cloth also works for curtains and other small-batch projects.

It also suits cushions where a different weight would fight the pattern.

Because it is opaque, most projects need no lining.

Ordering and Cutting

Ordering is by the yard, cut from a 59 in wide roll of velvet, and multiple yards come as one continuous length so your pieces stay on the same run. Check the 59 in width above before planning your cutting layout, and allow a little extra for squared edges.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0828/4874/3670/files/velvet-fabric-solid-for-sofa-throws-curtains-59-in-wide-1.jpg?v=1791301418
